Notes
Tips
You should try to answer all the questions on the form. Some can be left but those that must be answered are indicated with a red star *.

Email
An email address is not mandatory but you should try very hard to make an email address available as it will make it easier for others to contact you. You will be able to get notification of new property via email.

Careful

Many of the details that you type in as part of your registration will be made visible to other members of the public via your details on this web site.

Please think carefully about all of the details you make available.

Warning
Most tenancy agreements do not allow you to offer inducements for people to swap with you.

If a secure tenant gives or receives money or goods to secure an exchange they may be liable to eviction or in some circumstances a fine.
Benefit Reform
Important changes April 2013
The Government is introducing cuts to your Housing Benefit if they think you have any spare bedrooms. Please be advised that you WILL NOT be affected if you or your partner are old enough to receive pension credit. In April 2013 the pension credit age will be 61 years and 6 months.

Spare bedrooms
If you have any spare bedrooms then housing benefit will not pay as much as they did before towards your rent. This is called a deduction. This means that you will need to make payments towards your rent yourself, from your own income and/or other benefits. If you have 1 spare bedroom then the deduction will be 14% and it will be 25% if you have 2 or more spare bedrooms.

However if you would like to get an image of your home right away, then you can use our Streetview feature.

Your landlord will have the final say on whether they approve your photo or not, for this reason there may be a period of time in which your imagery is not viewable to other users of the system.

By using these techniques you should be able to identify your home, make sure you have the best view of it possible.

Please note that all images will be checked by your landlord, so please ensure that the location solely shows your property and not your neighbours too.

If it at anytime you decide you wish to remove any images, you can select the 'Delete' button in the red box. You can then follow the above steps to add new images of your current home.
