How To Register On House Exchange Back

It’s easier than ever to create your advert and start searching for potential swaps; there are three quick stages to setting up your account on House Exchange. Check out the tutorial and get moving today!

Step 1

The first step of registration is to complete your personal details:

• Select your title
• Enter your Forename and Surname
• Add your email address
• Add your telephone number
• There is the option to add a username, however this is auto-filled with your email address
• Choose a strong password

Please note: We advise the tenancy holder to use their details to register to avoid your registration being rejected

Step 2

At this stage you need to add the details of your home:

• Start by entering your property address; you can either do this manually, or type in the postcode and select from the dropdown menu
• Enter your property type: House, Flat, Maisonette, Bungalow or Bedsit
• Select the number of bedrooms
• Select your weekly rent from the dropdown 
• Tick any applicable features or restrictions which apply to your home
• Add where you'd like to move to 

Please note: When adding where you'd like to move, add only one location to avoid the matching algorithm erroring. You can always amend your search criteria.  

Step 3

The final step is adding household details:

• Adding how many adults and children live in your property
• Type in your landlord (this is who you pay your rent to)
• Select your tenancy type from the dropdown menu 
• Finally there is the option to add contact details to your advert
