This is a semi-detached bungalow on the Western outskirts of Edinburgh, officially Barnton but more Clermiston. It is very quiet, being a small pathway of only 10 houses with a further two facing the ‘main’ road’. All the residents are old/er and single. The front gardens are communally mown, but the front lawn areas are technically private. You are free to do what you like with them. The house has a walk-in shower, a good-sized lounge, and a smaller bedroom with small built-in wardrobe. It has gas central heating and a HUGE back garden, which is communal, but no-one uses it other than to hang washing, so it is a good place to sit. The nearest supermarket is a huge Tesco's (& Lidls), both open late and only five minutes away by car, ten minutes to walk to the bus stop and then five minutes down. The doctor’s surgery is literally across the road. There is also a Tesco Express only ten minutes away on foot. It is within walking distance (if you are fit) to Cramond, the beach and the beautiful River Almond walkway. There is also the huge Corstorphine Nature Reserve only minutes away, plus a large local park, so a very green area with a lot of wildlife (there are foxes and a badger in the back garden!). Pets are allowed. The house is built in such a way as to give you complete privacy in the lounge. It is a good quality old council estate, nearly all bought nowadays, and is definitely a middle class up-and-coming area.
